My Journey
My Story
My journey into hair extensions began over 18 years ago in California. Long before hair extensions became popular in Texas, I was already specializing in what was then known as Fusion Hair Extensions — the original traditional K-Tip method.
When I later moved to Texas, very few people knew what K-Tips were. Most clients had never heard of this method, and almost no stylists were offering it. I introduced this technique to many women looking for a more natural, long-lasting luxury extension experience.
Today, K-Tips have evolved, and I now specialize in both Traditional K-Tips and Invisible K-Tips. Invisible K-Tips feature incredibly small, discreet bonds that create one of the most seamless and undetectable extension methods available. Having worked with this technique since the very beginning, I truly consider myself one of the original specialists in this method.
Over the years, I have continued expanding my education and now professionally offer multiple luxury extension methods, including:
I am a licensed cosmetologist, and I believe education never stops. In 2026, I am continuing my professional journey by earning my Hair Coach Certification so I can continue serving both my clients and future extension artists at the highest level.
Teaching has also become one of my greatest passions. During 2025, I had the privilege of training hundreds of students inside my private studio through personalized, hands-on education, helping stylists build confidence while mastering luxury hair extension techniques.

I want people to understand that my studio is about so much more than beautiful hair.
Every client who walks through my door deserves a place where they can slow down, breathe, relax, and leave the stress of everyday life behind.
Although my studio is small and intimate, it was intentionally created to provide every client with personal attention, comfort, peace, and genuine care.
As a Christian, my faith is the foundation of everything I do. I truly believe God has blessed this space, and I pray over my business and the women who walk through my doors.
For me, this studio isn’t simply a place where hair extensions are installed. It’s a place where women can feel seen, encouraged, loved, and renewed.
I believe that every client who sits in my chair was sent here for a reason. My goal is not only to help you leave with beautiful hair, but to help you leave feeling more confident, more peaceful, and more like yourself.
Every appointment is built on kindness, honesty, excellence, and genuine care — because I want every woman to know she matters.

2008
Where It Began
Started specializing in Fusion Hair Extensions (Traditional K-Tips) in California. This is where my passion for luxury hair extensions began.
2009
Moved to Texas
Moved to Texas and introduced Traditional K-Tips long before they became widely known in the area. At the time, very few stylists offered this method, and most clients had never heard of it.
2025
Teaching & Mentoring
Began teaching hundreds of students through personalized, hands-on education inside my private studio, helping stylists master luxury hair extension techniques.
2026
Continuing to Grow
Continuing my education by earning my Hair Coach Certification while expanding Platero Hair and providing the highest level of service to both clients and future hair extension artists.
